my car is a base model 95 tercel and does not come with airconditioning. Is there a mini airconditioner out there that I can just plug into my car? It does'nt even have to be as cold as regular car ACs. Thank you

No.

2 reasons why.

Electric air conditioning is very power hungry. You don't have a power source sufficient in your car. That little electric lighter ain't gonna do it.

Second, a portable one would mean the unit would be in your car, and you would have to run a ventilation hose out a window to let the hot air out. That also means any cold air produced would quickly be lost out the window.

The answer is no. An a/c takes a lot more energy to cool the car down and it usually needs to be driven off the engine to accomplish this. Better off getting a car with A/C. Retrofitting is going to set you back at least $900. More than your Tercel is worth at this point.
Even if you used an inverter, you still have the unit that weighs 100 pounds in the car. Since half of this needs to be directed outside to get rid of the heat (A/C removes heat from one location and sends it to another) not to mention that all of that humidity has to go somewhere. You'd probably kill the inverter and the electrical system of this car trying this stunt.

If your car has heat vents, then you can put A/C in your car. Just look at another car, like yours, only the one that comes with A/C. If you can't do that, then go to an auto parts store and ask them if your car came with A/C. They'll ask for the type of car you have, then go from there. If they have what your looking for, then get a list of what you need and shop around. Then go to a car shop that specializes in A/C repair. If you have the parts, then the only thing they'll charge you is labor.

fridges use tons of power. the battery probably wouldnt last the hour, let alone the night. The only option is to leave the car running, which means you use gas, and you can't lock the car with it running so somebody might steal it. Put simply, by a cooler and ice instead.

You can use an A/C converted that changes the plug into something that goes into your lighter, then plug in a fan.
