Please do. I would be eternally grateful, and start a petition to make this international "Transparant Day".

As far as American Idol is concerned, I think you'd be doing a lot of people a favor. However, keep in mind that the majority of americans don't have cable and need something to watch during prime time. And, I'm sure something like American Idol would rear it's ugly head if you abolished it anyways.

As for Emo music. It's a lot like any other genre. There are some good bands/songs, but the majority aren't very good. I think it's funny how people bash emo music, but in a sense, almost all music is emo music. Emo is just short for emotional, and a vast majority of songs are about something that relates to emotions, a.k.a. love. Personally, I don't like a lot of "emo" bands, but Death Cab For Cutie is something I'd classify as "Emo-Indie-Alternative," and they are one of my top 3 bands of all-time.

I'd not even notice, feel free. Just leave the emo be, it will probably get so depressed it will kill itself.
