It should be your own happiness, but for most of us women it is others peoples happiness(the kids, the husband...). The idea is that if you are not truly happy with yourself then you can not be the best person you are capable of being.

Depends on who the other people are. Now as you get older you will see that trying to make people happy will only make you unhappy so you should not try to make people happy. On the other hand if its your wife and kids then I say yes, their happiness should come before yours

Depends on who we are talking about. If it is my kids or my mate then I would rather them be happy. If it were a child, then probably the child. Now if it were some mean person, then me.

i take care of me first....
it's nice when other people feel happy, but i'm not able to instill happiness into anyone else.

Thanks for pointing out how silly I am! I act as though everyone else's is. Except, if I'm in the plane going down, then my oxygen is more important, and I can't see why it isn't the same with happiness?
Isn't happy, healhty?
