can someone tell me how restore a laptop from the resource disk. (cntrl + f11) does not work this time?

I have been able to use cntrl +f11 in the past but this time it will not work. I have the resource cd but I don't know what I need to do to get started. Sitting on the phone with tech support isn't fun either. Can someone please tell me the steps to get this up and running again.

FN +F11 does not do anything, I know it is supposed to be cntrl + F11. I did it before and still have the pages I printed from dell's website.

Can someone please tell me the commands that I need to boot from the disk drive using the original resource disk?

It's Fn+F11, not CRTL+F11. Try that.
