What is a physician's starting salary???

Salary.com is a good resource. I don't know where you live or in what area you want to specialize, but a physician specializing in anesthesia in my area starts around $205k.

Not as much as you might think. Working for a hospital, a resident in a major metropolitan area might make considerably less than $100K. In lower Fairfield County, CT - which is one of the wealthiest communities in the country, an experienced MD Psychiatrist in a local hospital might only make $500 a day... Private practise can pay much more. But it's gonna takes many years to pay back all the student loans if you have to borrow for your whole education.
Consider plumbing or perhaps truck driving if what you're looking for is money.
