i have this friend named megan.all the boys like her and she is my friend.sarah,rachel,shelby,and valerie are my best friends.i'm trying to get megan to be my best friend.we go every were together.but when we get to shcool on monday,she ditches me for the 6th graders!i'm in 5th.sometimes she is is nice,sometimes is mean.help!she is a girly girly were me and my friends r not.she is also pretty selfish.the promblem is no else will be her friend execpt me.help!she also calls me 24/7.she calls when i'm sick.i tell her i don't want to talk or i will call her back later,but she does not listion.she calls back at 9:00 pm.please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do you want this girl to be your best friend? She's rude, she's selfish, and she would rather hang out with other people than with you.
If no one will be her friend except for you, that's not YOUR problem, it's hers. She doesn't act like a friend, so she doesn't have any. Don't make that your problem, go hang out with your real friends and let this girl learn her lesson. Sooner or later she'll start acting right, but you don't have to be the one to suffer while she figures it out.

First of all let me just tell you briefly what a true friend is, a true friend is never ashame of you, ditches you, hateful towards you, or disrespect you. It is obvious that Megan is not your friend, never was your friend, and doesn't want to be your friend. And when she does act as if she is your friend, she only do it when it is convenient for her. Sweetie, that is not a true friend. Don't stoop so low just to have her as a friend. You are a bright, lovely and intelligent young lady that shouldn't have to sell herself short just to have this particular person as your friend. I've been through all that you are going through and when my mom told me these exact words, I didn't want to listen but eventually I grew up and learned the hard way. There are males/females that you would do anything just to be there friend but when they continue to step on your heart over and over again that is a hint that you need to keep your distance. Believe me once you give her space, she will be in your face 24/7 instead of the other way around. Why run behind her when you already have great friends? Think about it!!! Good luck on your decision and remember life is too short for you to dwell on something that will probably never change!!!!

see when u have a friend older than ur age or ur grade this kind of problems arise. what u need to do is decide weather u want her as ur friend or not. if u do want her as ur friend try to understand that she has to do what her age people do. just think if u had a friend who is younger to ur age or grade what will re friends say. keep ur self in her shoes then u will come to know and please if u want to be friends with her then dont think about her selfishness because it is the thing that spoils a good friendship. why do u think she calls u? do u think she has no one except u? u told us she is very popular in school specially among boys. see she cares about u so she calls u. think about that..................

Help is here. This doesn't sound like a friend because a friend would be nice and not selfish and care about you. Tell her goodbye because it ain't you, it's her that needs help. If she ain't listening still, then just ingoire her. Don't say a word to herand don't talk to her when she calls your name. Ask your mom if y'all change your number so she can't call you anymore. Or have one of them zap numbers thingy. From what your saying, she just wants attachion, she doesn't wanna be friends.

thats ridiculous! im not sure u guys should be friends, + ur pretty much using her for her popularity. Just be like "ok u act pretty mean to me" and tell her and then if u guys aren't friends, so be it. if u are , great.
