It depends on how long it has been in for but even if it has been in for a long time it will be a little scar about the size of a sugar granual or smaller

the whole will eventually heal and it does leave a little mark but not exactly a scar as you would imagine it. the side of the hole that is in your mouth will heal quick quickly but the outside takes more time

If you have had it long enough it won't even close up.. My fiances cousin had her lip periced and has left it out (due to her job) for the past 2 years... The hole still hasn't closed.

Mine didn't but i have the smallest dot but i can hardly see it and no 1 ever commented about it so the answer is no
