i use AVG7.5 pro version....do u think am i secured totally or do i need to have a better antivirus??....and wat u people r currently using??........can i get a clear idea of the best anti virus of the time??

AVG is amazing and if you're using the pro version it's even better. Try installing AVG Anti-Virus too, then you will be totally covered. My father runs an internet service provider and he uses AVG on his servers. Don't listen to the people who will tell you to install Norton or McAffe, they are terrible programs that will only slow down your computer and reduce your coverage. (They also aren't as easy to use as AVG)

My personal experience shows that Norton Antivirus is the best antivirus software available. I am not a Norton salesman or anything like that. This software has prevented virus to come to my PC and viruses always attacked me when this was not installed on my PC. OHHHH!!! Don't forget that Norton makes the PC very slow. Your PC will start up slowly and any file u open will be scanned for viruses. Now its up to u whether u want speed or security.
Other softwares like AVG and Mcafee and PC Cillin don't show effective results.
Now, I want to make it clear that whatever I have stated is my personal experience. I have no personal grudge with AVG or Mcafee or PC Cillin where as I do not work in Norton that I speak for it. Noone catch me for my words!!!

well all anti-virus and anti-spyware softwares have the sama performance.........you must choose AVG because more than a million PC users in the world are using it. and it is free

Avg is a good program, sounds as if your well protected.
Personally I am using trend micro UNTIL zone alarm is released for vista. That is my favorite. When it comes to free antivirus my fav is antivira.

AVG is totally JUNK. Kaspersky is the best paid one. Active Virus Shield is the best free one.

I have been using PC-Cillin since 1998 and have never had a problem it could not fix quickly and efficiently. AVG is the best free antivirus...I install it on every computer I do service on.

you just but the cd of the lastest norton antivirus the 2007 one because if you will download it for free and other antivirus in site it have a big posibility to have a spyware and a virus so be careful i hope it works

I used to use Norton but then it started causing problems with my system so I had to uninstall it. I use CA Antivirus now.
