I used to sneak out the window until my Mom planted a cactus in front of it. After that I just started walking out the front door.

i would sneak out the downstairs window (or roll up the garage door just enough for me to crawl under), pop the car in neutral, roll it half way down the block then start it up.
if you're in an apartment i imagine it would be harder, so it's all a matter of waiting until they're asleep and being as stealthy as possible

Meh, it's my house I just use one of the doors 9 times out of 10. Perhaps you should look into getting a cloaking device.

really, just walk out the front door. the more you try and hide it, the easier it is to catch you. Just act like normal and you will make less noise!
