Why not..let him know you still care and think about him. Just because people can't be married doesn't mean they can't be friends.

Your question was very vague. Why was he put in jail? If it was for domestic abuse for beating up on you- I say hell no, was he in there for causing hurt, harm or danger to anyone- I say no but if its for traffic tickets, why not. You need to put a few more details on why this man is in jail.

I think that's something you need to discuss with your current husband, and see how he feels.

If he's not thrilled, send the ex- a care package.

Well the magic of divorce is that it's not your problem anymore. But if you're friends and you husband doesmn't mind then yes you could if you want to.

was he there for you when he wasnt in jail? when one is locked up they need communication. any one will do. they start to feel sorry for themselves. you have to remember they are on the inside. they have no connection to the world bit only to connect with ones who are not doing time with them. next thing you know they want you to send them money. and you might do so. its the intention that you need to know behind him. does he need you now that hes in jail? would he do it for you?

Send him a postcard. Why should you have to go through the indignity of being practically strip searched. He got himself there, hopefully he can earn his way out.

Very open ended question. Why is he in jail? If it's for a domestic violence charge, I'd say no.

He's your EX!
Ask your current husband if you should. If he's OK with it, then its all good.
