Does anyone know how many hours difference between the Eastern time zone and the PDT Pacific Day time zone? I know that EST is ahead but now exactly sure by how much. Any ideas?

If you are talking about PDT and EDT there would be three hours - the same for PST and EST.

Your question asks about Pacific Daylight and Eastern Standard - that would be two hours

Well, Daylight Savings Time started for almost the entire United States on March 11, 2007. So, Pacific Daylight Time, Mountain Daylight Time, Central Daylight Time and Eastern Daylight Time are currently in effect until November 2007.

There are 3 hours difference between EDT and PDT. A 12:00 noon EDT, it is 9:00 a.m. PDT. PDT is always 3 hours behind (or Earlier than) EDT, and thus PST is 3 hours behind (or Earlier than) EST.

When Standard Time resumes, It will be EST and PST.
