It depends on the voice you are talking about. If you are talking about vocals, then no because mute people survive just fine. If you are talking about being part of society and wanting to participate in what is happening then yes it is very important. In this case you can't just sit on the side lines but have to in some way give your input into the different situations. This can be done vocally or written.

No. Most people have 'voices' that are irrational. Better to think and question everything, than to spew more pseudo-intellectual garbage because you feel it is important to have a 'voice'.

Remember, these people had very strong 'voices': Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Saddam, etc. Millions and millions of people met horrible deaths because these 'voices' were not silenced by 'thinking' humans.
