He is one of my favorite authors too. I am just so saddened when such brilliant people die. May he rest in peace and his work live on forever.

He was 84 but still I just never expect when things like this happen.

Sigh. I found out at 3 a.m. this morning and it ruined my whole day. He was and is my favorite author; I've read his work extensively and am in the early stages of writing my master's thesis on his work.

I somehow felt this coming and would check every now and then on line to see if he was still with us.
