Lorry = truck
Lift = elevator
Petrol = gasoline
bullocks = testicles

and then there's:

fortnight = two weeks

It could be our Canadian accent but those darn Americans say "roof' like "ruf", bugs the hell out of me. Also we have "couches" while our American neighbours have "sofas"

It would help to know where you're from so we know what's different to you. Proper way to end that question would be 'differently THAN us'.
