"I like dick". Seriously. I've had a guy walk up to me at a club and say that. A gay club...talk about stating the obvious. So do whatever you can to NOT state the obvious. It will be smooth irregardless.

Pick-ups can be difficult, and very few people actually like them. I saw this one on Wedding Bells, and I thought it was good, "When I walk by a belle or two, I just have to chime right in." But, seriously, many people DO NOT like them! It's better to try and make them laugh or to hold an interesting conversation.

"I think I'm in love." Although lines are just that - lines. You'd be much better off approaching someone and just starting a genuine conversation - sans cheesy lines.

Haven't you learned by now that pick-up lines don't work? They just make you look like a jerk! Try asking the girl her name and start up a conversation instead!

Personally, I hate pick up lines. Make conversation about what you are interested in and genuinely be interested in the other person. Pick up lines don't work. They make you look immature.

The best thing is to compliment their hair, not eyes everyone know you're trying to get at them when you mention eyes. Try eye brows like "wow your eye brows are shaped cool" Compliment their shoes, clothes not tops because then they'll think you're looking at their susus. Try look at something on their pants any designs or trimmings and compliment it like " that's the first time I've seen them" After you compliment them just walk away. People like it when they are just being complimented instead of trying to get at.
