What's the right word to put here: "I have sights to show you and sounds to ___________ you."

i am looking for a simple word that means "To cause or allow to be heard."

Hey, you are right. THere really isnt a parallel word in english for SHOW in an audio context.

In this case you will have to use a word that denotes the effect you want to achieve such as soothe, entice, enchant, excite, inspire, etc. Otherwise go with the multiple word suggestions of others.

Pretty sure there is no such word. "expose you to" or something similar is as close as one can get. "sounds for you to hear" -- I'm obviously no poet!

Or take the tack some answerers suggest: use a word for what effect you want the sounds to have: amuse, entice, interest, sadden -- whatever.

Interesting linguistic oddity you've uncovered there.

surround

If it is plain English I have no clue what the proper word may be.

play to you

communicate to you

listen to with you

....sounds for you to listen to
