Depends on the situation. In the water, I'd say the dolphin. Unless of course they were slashed by engine rotors. Then I think the manatee might win, since they are mostly fat. And the manatee would DEFINITELY win if they were both beached at the same time. All it would have to do is roll over the dolphin and suffocate it.

The dolphin would have to stick and move. The manitee would have to find a way to get a hold of the dolphin. Hmmm don't know.

Dolphin. The manatee may have a thicker hide, but the dolphin is far faster.

Neither of these animals would win, both are to docile to put up any fight except maybe to protect their young and then I think the manatee would win due it's shear size.

Lol, great question..... I'd have to say the dolphin, only because of how fast and manueverable it is compared to the manitee. It'd beat it down, in my opinion.
