If you can feel all the way up to your belly button, you have a urinary tract infection and you must get to a GP straightaway. To be sure, run to the chemist and ask if they have an at home UTI exam kit. Then you can phone your GP and let them know the results, and they can phone the chemist for antibiotics. It is an absolute necessity that you call the GP, and even if the office is closed, the answer service can have the doc paged, cos this is an emergency. Drink cranberry juice or find a supplement that you can take daily. It helps to prevent this sort of this, it cleanses from the inside. Good luck to you.

Could be a bladder infection. Try drinking some cranberry juice and make an appt. with your Dr. If let go, it could get VERY serious, with you ending up in the hospital.

urinary tract infection perhaps? I have a very good recipe for relief from it if it hasn't had time to get really bad!
1 tsp cream of tartar to one cup lemon juice.
*must be from a fresh lemon, not the store bought stuff.
It is not very tasty but does the job! I've been using it for years!!
