Weird things happen while on depo.

Glad to hear you've already made an appointment.

Could you have been a little late getting your recent shot? That might do it.

Breakthrough bleeding is common with any birth control. I just went in for the exact same problem with my oral contraceptives - a period right there in the middle, with cramps and everything.

Going to the docs was a good suggestions. Here's what happened during my appointment. We talked, I explained my symptoms. She asked how regularly I've been taking the pill and then asked how much sex I've been having, had I had any before the pill, etc.

Its scary, but any abnormal bleeding could indicate a pregnancy. If you've taken your shots just fine, then you should be just fine.

So what could be the problem? For me, it was the wrong type of birth control. Even the shot has options - I'm not an expert on it, but I believe there's a progesterone one and an estrogen one - your doctor may reccomend you switching to one or the other or something new entierly.

Bad news with the shot - your period may continue until your next shot.

Depo outcomes human beings very otherwise. when I cam off depo, i hade perchance 4 classes over the first twelve months of being off the shot. My physician instructed me that it will take your body a lengthy time period to regulate to being off the dep.. yet i'd bypass see your physician only to make effective.

depo can be great or...a nightmare...while on it I had a lite to heavy period for11 mos and then became pregnant(ectopic)...I would consider alternate methods, to be safe and healthy.
