I have allowed my husband to drag me into debt, way over my eyeballs. I am only $3,000 in debt and have cut up the cards, along with his copies. My credit score was great, and now it's as low as possible. I thought he'd been paying on them, but it turns out we haven't made a payment since OCTOBER 2006! Bill collectors are calling me constantly, I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant, already on medicaid, filing for food stamps, etc. I do not want to declare bankruptcy (especially since I have nothing to show for his frivilous b/s). We do not own a house, and I'm living with my parents now (see my multiple questions question).

I feel I've no choice but to put my new baby into daycare along with my one year old son, once the new baby is born. I have to get out of debt, it is tearing me apart - mentally & physically. My husband got a job offer in Cali., and is moving out there. He doesn't know what to do about this situation.

Anyone know of any good childcare facilities in the St. Louis area?

A lot depends on what area you live in. I have found that day cares that are run by churches are more interested in the children rather than the $$. Will you need one that takes sliding scale based on your income? Do you qualify for day care assistance from the state? I'm sorry to hear that you are so stressed. Pregnancy plus a toddler is hard enough without out all the extra added. Do you have a case worker from the state that could help you?
