My 2 favorites are Days of Our Lives and Passions. I have watched Days for 10 years and I have watched Passions since the very first episode. I am addicted to both. I record them on my DVR every day. Passions is getting cancelled, so Days will be my only soap opera. Maybe I'll start watching another one....any suggestions?

Guiding Light. I starting watching it in high school when I'd come home because my mom always had it on. My mom's mom also always had it on, and that's why she started watching it. I'm 24 now, and have been watching for about 10 years (I can't watch every day, but I try as much as possible.) It's also the longest running soap. My grandma used to listen to it on the radio!! So, the history that it has, along with the history my family has with it, makes it my number one soap choice.

It use to be Days of our Lives but since all the people aren't the same and I dont like the way anything has turned out on it I dont watch it anymore and now my favorite one is Guiding Light! I've watched it for about 20 years ever since I was a little girl and my mom watched it.

All My Children: because I've been watching since 1972; most of you weren't even born then. I've been living in Atlanta for 7 years, but I bet I could "find my way" around Pine Valley better than I can here. I know the people; I know who I like and don't like. Besides, on my worst day, I have more sense than these people. They have money, education, power, and yet they don't have sense enough to come in out of the rain. A real self-esteem booster.

General Hospital. I started watching in 1981. I watch more out of habit the anything else. The show is really not as good as it use to be. I wish it would loose it's mobster vibe and go back to the original format.

The Young and The Restless. Really not concrete reason why. I think because my mother watched it when it when I was at home. And the in college my roommate watched it. So I think I just have watched the characters evolve over 20 years, so I should watch it! :)

Young and the Restless. I've been watching it for as long as I can remember. Even though somethings are a little far-fetched, it is one of the shows that is the most real. IT IS THE BEST!!!!
