Actually I prefer the music that is just a little before my time - late 60s/early 70s. That's when the music industry still had integrity and talent. It wasn't corporate driven.

Because you remember the good times with which the music is associated. All those "forming" experiences that happened when you were in high school or college - they have a soundtrack.
