My husband is in the Kentucky Guard and has been in Iraq for over a year,been extended and may get extended again.

My husband served 20 years in the Marines, and I was with him for 15 of them, so I can say that I've served right along with him.

I had a recruiter call me once, and I told him I'd like to enlist, but I'm legally blind and epileptic. He couldn't get off the phone fast enough! But I admire the people who have the courage to do it.
