Our live path leads to dying. We are not dying, we are alive until the moment we die.
I should think just about everyone would have a different opinion on this. Especially those who suffer with depression.

I think I would put it this way: UNLESS you are living, then you are dying.
To many thinkers, life isn't just a state of being. It's something that you DO. Whether you think of life as a process of struggling, definition, learning, or experiencing, many of these people would say that it is one that you have to be actively engaged in. I would (obviously) agree with them.
Some people, thus, are dead long before their bodies stop functioning. And some people, perhaps, live long after.
