I love the company I work for and I love my boss. I hate my job!

I loved my job & loved getting up in the morning. The company I work for is great. They are always supportive. We have great benefits and terrific pay. I recently accepted a promotion and was transferred to a new location and the stress is killing me. I just can't seem to work enough or do anything well enought o keep our clients happy. I've been in my position for two months. Should I hang in to see of it gets better or take a lower paying position somewhere else?

p.s. I have a job that would typically require a masters but have worked my way from the bottom to the top of the company without any degree. I am only 24 but I am a single mom so I can't just walk out.

All new jobs suck for the first few months. Then you start to get into a rhythm, and making the job your own. It'll get better.

Congratulations on working your way to the top!!

Is it possible for you to approach your old boss and ask about getting your old job back? If your job has been filled by someone else and they have nothing more for you right now explain how you feel and ask that they keep you in mind if another position becomes vacant - see if you can stick it out until then - if you cant you have a great position for your resume and you may be able to find another job with a little less on the stress plate.

Good luck!

Hang in there. If it doesn't get better, talk to your boss about it.
