It's very hard to forgive some times, but you have to learn how, in order to move on with your life...

You know. Ive put alot of thought into this question. For me it hits a nerve. For the longest time in my life i was entirely full of hate. And I could hold grudges for the longest time. However within the last 8 years of my life, I have gotten a pretty solid relationship with God and have come 2 realize that it is not my place 2 not forgive people. I personally have no right 2 pass judgement on others ( its still a work in progress). Now dont get me wrong. That does not mean that i let people walk all over me. I do however forgive people. But I do not forget what people have done 2 me. Or what I have done 2 others. I just use my past experience with individuals as a measuring stick 2 define if some1 who has burnt me deserves a second chance. Burn me once shame on you. Burn me twice shame on me.

I do forgive in all cases, but I never forget. Remembering those experiences keep me from getting hurt like that again.

I forgive, but don't forget.
Then I look for the positive lessons I have learned from it all.

She was my best friend at the time (had been since we were 8 all the way up until h.s.) then jr. yr. came and she messed up everything just for saying my life story to someone whom didn't need to know none of it. We didn't speak for about 2 yrs. then became friends again, (not best), 3 yrs. down the line, today (as we speak) she is at it again...I'm not gonna be "Mr. nice guy" any longer....
