There must be an obvious problem with your self installation; bubbles, streaks, Hazy milky look?

Bay shampoo is fine . Add a drop or two to a gallon of water. This should be fine. This is known as a slip solution. The key is to clean the window extremely well prior to the film install. Follow the manufacturer's instructions (if available. )

At this point I'd suggest that you pull off the film, re-clean and re-apply.

I had mine professionally installed and they did not use baby shampoo, but dish washing solution was added to their spray bottle and only a couple of drops. Vinegar will cut through the baby shampoo, but if you are going to reapply the window film add a couple of drops of dish washing soap.

You will have to get the film off of the window and off of the film too, I would think.

Try water to get it off, and this time only one drop of dishwashing detergent. Don't need too much, as you have found out. Good luck
