My thoughts:

We have been in the grip of right wing conservatism for a long time and it has failed miserably. Now power has shifted to the left wing liberals and due to this change everyone is now bickering and screaming like 2 year olds. People are so busy proving that humans have lost the ability to be thinking, rational beings that no one has realized that conservatives and liberals are basically the same thing that just puts the accent on different words in the same sentence.

Now so far I see no evidence of a rise of intelligence in America but if it is happening we might finally have a chance to get rid of both the right wing and left wing wackos and bring the Moderates, generally the social betters of both conservs and liberals, back into control so that hopefully humanity's course can be changed from complete destruction to a bright future

In the past few years there has been an upswing in what I consider to be 1970's liberalism. Based on the strong anti-globalism movement, I tend to think that there really are more radical liberals now than there were 10-15 years ago.

As for whether they're incompetent and disgraceful as a matter of opinion. The Republicans are equally guilty of trash-talk and false accusations.

There are really 4 parties:
- pro-moral conservatives
- amoral conservatives
- pro-moral liberals
- amoral liberals

There are PLENTY of conservatives who really only care about money and don't care at all about doing what's right. Liberals tend to always have a moral bent, but it varies a lot in extremity. Needless to say, the moral priorities of liberals and conservatives are often very different.

First, a usual swing of better disapproval? Are you kidding? Is that why the elections went the way the did in November? 2d, as grown-ups, we do not rather care what's "cool". we favor what's maximum proper for our us of a. The substitute in administration is what this us of a desires. third, "rugged, not problem-free, no BS kind 'stylish' move with the conservatives?isn't that an oxymoron? Sorry, yet you have become the incorrect idea from this communicate board. that's a very conservative communicate board in spite of the indisputable fact that that's hardly ever indicative of the country's ideas set.

You are not even close. People are jumping the Republican/Conservative boat at light speed to distance themselves from Bush and his Administration. It has nothing to do with cool. Also, many Republicans are starting to see that their party is a mere shell of what it used to be and they want nothing to do with it.

what color is the sky in your world? maybe you haven't been payin attention. how many more GIs must die before you wake up to the fact that america, always willing to dole out fifteen minutes of fame, has tired of knee jerk reactionaries and fascist fanatics? it's time to return to american ideals.

I get treated badly every day for being openly conservative. I personally think that, right now, everybody is leaning left. It was never cool to be liberal, in my opinion. What I find really sad is that people never have anything nice to say about Bush anymore. Talk about following the herd. You can't say anything nice about him without being labeled "neocon bush zombie" or some crazy name like that.
