All...All presidents in past come into office with their own appointees, most previous attorneys will resign automatically. Historically, were probably a total of 6 fired mid term, but for very good reasons. not this time....
This is different, folks...focus.
When attorneys come in under a new administration, they are sworn in and no longer play by party, their first loyalty is to
THE RULE OF LAW AND CONSTITUTION, NOT PARTY.
1. When patriot act was reauthorized, aide secretly added part where said president no longer has to go to congress for approval. 2. The Republican Attorneys who were fired were either
A. In the middle of some serious investigations, and were not fired because of incompetence, but in order to prevent those investigations from going further...OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE...A CRIME.
B. The Republican Attorneys were refusing to persue investigations (like against ACORN which was just registering minorities) and prosecutions on basis of lack of evidence.
C. Republican Congress members were expecting the white house to interfere with the Attorneys jobs of administering justice.
D. Congress is required to do oversight, and in the process, Gonzo has committed purgery in his testimony.
E. Rove and others have used RNC for emails, illegal.
The email footprints still exist in routers, harddrives. they will be found.
I know the details are boring, but if you care to comment, would advise some study.
This is worse than Watergate. It is a power grab. Lack of an honest justice system is one of the points of facism. You want your democracy or not?
I say impeachment, but all the evil minions have to go at the same time so we don't have to say Heil Cheney.

Impeachment and any government official caught in a lie should be immediately relieved of office and pay and benefits cancelled. We should take that right into congress and it should apply to all government positions. Get caught and go to the street, directly to the street, do not pass go. I believe in fair treatment that has so long plagued our country that we should start fair treatment of our representatives at state and federal levels that choose to lie and deceive the people and make more money. If you plug all the holes in the sieve, and i mean all of them the U S could operate in the black. Think about that.

Most will acknowledge that this administration is corrupt. As much as I'd like to see mr. bush impeached, the vp is cheney. That's the scary part of impeachment. If we think bush is corrupt, what does that make cheney? Just imagine him as prez.
I'd rather just sit it out and wait till this administration is just a bad memory.

I was happy to see the Congress shift to Democratic but on this issue I think they are wasting perfectly good red tape.

Funny. Anger from someone who probably had no issue with "lost" FBI files being found in the White House.
Again, no law has been broken in the dismissal of these attorney. I just wish Bush would come out and say, "Yes, I fired them." "I didn't like their politics and I fired them." What the hell would you liberals do? Your issue would be dead because no law has been broken.

I bet they have something to hide. Clinton did not even deny subpoenas when we was required although something had happened and confessed.
Bush completely denies subpoenas.. so seriously.. you'd have to be mind-blown not to think he has something to hide. Obstruction of Justice would definitely be one. I still hope they'll force him to go to court.
