Hi,

I took my car to Just Brakes 3 weeks ago when my brakes were squeaking. I spent 350.00 for them to change all pads, rotors, etc. Then just in the last 2 weeks I noticed the brakes are squeaking again when coming to a stop at a lower speed. For example a stop light or a stop sign. I took the car back in and they said they didn't hear anything on the test drive. I then began to notice that the brakes dont squeak when they are cold. I usually have to be driving for about 30 minutes to an hour then I begin to hear problems. The Just Brakes people think im crazy and treat me like im ignorant, but the brakes sound awful. I spent alot of money and want them fixed. Why would a car with four new brakes only squeak when the car has been driven after about 30 minutes? This doesn't make sense to me. The Just brakes people want me to drive the car for an hour then come see them. I have a life and dont have the time or gas to waste for this. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions??

You are not crazy nor ignorant. Your brake people most likely did not spread CRC Brake Quiet on the back (metal) sides of the brake pads before they installed them on your vehicle. This product (among others) deadens the harmonics (squeal) when you use your brakes . The material in Brake Quiet. is a high temperature silicone that positively isolates the vibrating squawking you're presently living with.

I include this product even though the pads have vibration shims on the back. It'll solve your problem I promise you.

When they go for the test drive with them and show them the problem. Sometimes when brakes are new they tend to squeak doesnot mean the brake are bad it just common when they are new. Gooduck with the problem. I wish it gets resolved.
