We want to be loved, accepted, cherished, honored, respected. Basic marriage vows stuff.
We want to provide for our wives, we want to lead (not domineer) in the marriage and seek the best for our families. We want to care for our wives and love our children and be respected and looked up to not demeaned or degrated as being "just a man".
We want to not be pushed away when we try being affectionate as it numbs us and makes us feel like we're doin something wrong.
Tha't all we want outta life. Simple needs for simple men.
I don't regret getting married. Marriage is the most special relationship in the world. It is two people growing together, being more intimate w/ each other, being more interdependant like vines on a wall. Growing old together and caring for each other.
Simple needs.

We need wives to listen more to what we need, we love sex, honesty and trust. Men regret getting married when the wife changes and takes her husband for granted.
Happiness to us is living a stress free life, no arguing, complaining, or bitching. We love peace and quiet, being able to kick back and relax.
You want to understand your husband? Just listen and pay attention to him, it's all right there.

Interesting question.
For many happiness is a complete acceptance of who they are. I see this as simply love.
However, this feeling of acceptance is harmed with nagging, complaints, wants (are settle demands of more than what we already are).
Happiness in marriage is the freedom to be happy and not have your partner drag you down.
No one or thing can MAKE anyone happy.
Happiness come from within like optimism.
Its not the wive's job to make the husband happy.
Its not the husband's job to make the wife happy.
Relationships (married or not) are the sharing of happiness with each other not the making each other happy.

Ask him. Above all, remember, men need space. We don't need to communicate as often as women. We don't need to be cuddly and fuzzy like women, though in a perfect relationship, a man will want to do these things to make his woman happy. Men need their extra space and wind-down time especially after work. Also remember, relationships / marriage isn't all about one spouse. YOU need to be happy also. One final thing; he hasn't figured you out either. The opposite sex is forever a mystery to the other; that's part of what makes it so much fun.

Basically talk to him , is there an issue ? work together at putting it right. Marriage is a two way street , just like love. Be honest and open to what the problems are and work together to put them right. Make sure both of you try and work hard to make sure you are both happy & you both get what you want, both as individuals & as a couple.

quite honestly the best thing you can do for him is give him sex often and be willing to try new things
do this for him, and you will have far fewer fights, get your way more often and just have a less cranky husband in general
