I understand how the writers of lost would want to keep the mystery alive, by not revealing too much plot information at once, but damn the characters because they never ask the right questions! They are usually happy to just sit back and let those terrorizing them terrorize them without needing any explaination.

You're right about the questions, but Lost writers have alot to cover in 42 minute episodes. Just like in movies, the audience is supposed to be able to guess the characters reaction. If we think "of course they're asking her questions", then it would be redundant to include all that. They do have an plethora of clues and not alot of answers. For every answer there are 10 more questions asked.

As far as Jack asking all of them to lay off of asking Juliet questions, that's just weird. He's got to be in on it or something. Let's not forget how mad he's been at the others all season long.

Well, in the case of Juliet, Jack pleaded with them to leave her alone. I KNEW something was off with that chick! I'm thinking Ben promised to let her go home if she infiltrated the camp...I wonder what's going to happen in a week (when Ben said he would see Juliet again). This just keeps getting weirder and weirder!

Typical television show. Noone opens up and starts talking to each other and try to figure things out together.

Sayid should be the leader, he's the only one using his brains!

It would be too "talky" and not enough action. You want talk- watch a talk show.
