My fiance says that I am naive about things. I ask questions during movies that are science fiction or just complicated. He doesn't understand why I can't keep up with the movie. He has a IQ of 150, and I don't. Sometimes I miss things in movies so I ask. Should I do this, or just keep quiet?

Its not a bad thing to be naive...it's a pity more people aren't, people nowadays are usually too greedy or power driven to see the bigger picture.

Every day should be a learning day, so ask all you want and if he can't handle this then get a man who can.

Cut yourself some slack, it takes all kinds to make this world go round and 'smart' people don't know everything...and the smartest people admit this...

ingesting or smoking because someone inform you that is not any longer undesirable is naive. in case you come back to a call to drink or smoke, do it on your words. in spite of the indisputable fact that, being naive is mostly a nasty element, never doubt that. It blinds you to the reality, and that only finally ends up in suffering. Anywho, what im attempting to assert is, if someone calls you naive, its probably real, so open your eyes speedy, to inspite of escaped your understanding before, no matter if a chum or no longer, there are only some human beings this modern-day day which will nicely be relied on, and those can will be are frequently your spouse and youngsters.

Don't define yourself by what someone else calls you. And if sci-fi movies don't interest you, make him watch them by himself! :) I've got a high IQ, and I'm intelligent, but I ask a lot of questions during movies, too. If your fiance can't accept you for who you are, you might want to shop around.

Asking means your interested, means you want to undestand him. That is by no means a bad thing. Unfortunly high IQ's tend to come packaged with high egos so read the directions and if symptoms persist, get another fianece :)
