You don't say what kind of a math class this is. Is it a statistics class? If so, then you might want to form this kind of hypothesis:

First -- shoose some climate variables of interest -- like average monthly temperature and average monthly rainfall (you can use others). Then assume a relationship:

Toursism = A+B*avg_temperature+C*avg_rainfall

Next, gather monthly data on these two averages & the tourism level associated with those months.

The last step it to do a regression analysis.

If none of this makes sense -- then you probably aren't doing statistics & none of this helps.
