Many people think that respecting the earth means never changing or disturbing anything. It is like man has no right to be here. I disagree. While it is pure folly to destroy ones own source of air, food and water, there is a big difference between disrespecting natural resources and utilizing natural resources.
I believe that man is part of nature. We do what is natural for us to do. Just like beavers build dams or rabbits dig holes, man builds cities, machinery and roads. I believe you can do both; utilize and respect the earth at the same time.

I sure do I recycle, separate my trash pick it up from the ground, Never use more water then needed, I don't drive far distances I use public transportation when visiting my dad in LA, Low flow shower heads, And I am just as good with saving on electricity. Help I need rehab!

Anyways, I am a big time environmentalist. I recycle everything from top to bottom and I am very concerned about Mother Earth, as are you.
