To me, the ups and downs and conflicts and challenges are what make life worth living. I would hate perfection myself. How do you feel?

Depends on what you think perfection means. If it is everything going exactly as planned, never making mistakes, never getting ill, always being incredibly cheerful, etc., then yes, it would be one boring existence.

On the other hand, if it is simply a life that you are very happy to live, then no, not boring.

While you are correct, boredom is a state of mind that is brought on because we know, or believe that there is something better or more exciting that we could be doing with our time. So, while it would be boring, would we realize it - that is if it had always been perfect?

i agree, however "perfect" will never exist without the problems and unpleasantness of reality. we only dream of making things more and better than when we find it as to others ruin things in life by taking them for granted. nothing is good forever, that is why we fight it once in a while for what we love.

Remember what you just said 5 years from now and could even be sooner than that. You will see the day that you beg for a perfect world. You will beg for a world with even a lot less confusion. You will beg for a world without war. You will beg for a world without confused and hateful people. You will beg for your freedoms to come back.

It would bore me to death. A perfect world, it reminds me of Jehovah's Witnesses. Spare me!
