Many local stations are now streaming their feed. But I wouldn't dump your analog tuner just yet...the RIAA is trying to make a major hike in the fees to stream audio over the internet and so a lot of stations may give that up as too expensive.
There are a lot of internet only stations as well, and an excellent list of them can be found at http://www.live365.com
Both WinAmp and iTunes support streaming audio and I know iTunes has a browsable list of stations that you can just click and add.
I'd also recommend Pandora (http://pandora.com) as an excellent way to have a commercial free streaming feed of music I am sure you'll like (since you can set the kinds of music you like).
But keep that tuner handy until the RIAA either goes away or wises up.

Yes you can, generally your local radio station has a website of its own. If not, there's Yahoo Music.

I know of two in Milwaukee, Wi that have streaming audio. Which is what you need to look for, radio station websites with streaming audio.

Only if that particular station of yours do a simulcast on the Internet. Only a small percentage do.
Check that station's website. If they have a simulcast audio stream it would be on their website.

There are tons of places to find online radio stations.....
http://web.info.com/infocom.us/search/web/internet%2Bradio%2Bstations
My personal favorite is yahoo's launchcast radio.....you can set the genre of music you like, then while playing music, you can rate song, artist, or album making the player pick better songs the more you rate....absolutely amazing.....and free!
