Wait, what?
Black holes are real. Like, legitimately real. And there's no need to "do anything about it," as you might say, because they don't threaten earth.

Silly putty is silly.
But there might be a way with some kinda dome.
Iron, like strong and drop it over the opening and tighten the edges.
Ya gotta watch you don't get sucked in cause the light is stuck at the edge and you can't see it.
Maybe the scientists will give us the money to get rid of the problem. Good eh?

Nobody can do anything about it.
Honestly, people these days think everything is some person's fault. It reminds me of the Simpsons episode where the town is nearly destroyed by a giant meteor, and after the crisis passes Moe says they should burn down the observatory so this can never happen again.

conspiracy paranoia much?
no one can do anything about a black hole. but since (as far as we know) there are none near earth, no one is really worrying about them.. except apparently you.
i don't know what kind of money you are talking about. do you know of some great black hole patching fund somewhere? maybe its up there with shares for the moon.
i repeat no black hole is a threat to earth, no one is trying to say that they are (except maybe some sci fi authors). and i really don't see any black hole scams anywhere, unless there are truly people that gullible to fall for it.

If there was a black hole close enough to earth to affect it it wouldn't matter because by the time we figured out about it it would be to late.

not really any way to stop a black hole unless you can go 5 million times faster than light (exaggerated of course)

There is no propaganda about it. And no they aren't going to patch them because there is nothing that we can do about them. The nearest one is lighyears away and would rip anything close apart, molecule by molecule.
