As a woman, I'm tired of being called a beeatch and a ho. Maybe they are, too.

Here are two incidents that have happened in the world today...

1. The Imus incident.

2. Black rappers rapping about black whores.

What's the difference you might ask?

1. Imus incident makes every black woman in America outraged even though he says he is sorry.

2. Black rappers don't make black women in America outraged and even if they did, you still wouldn't hear them complaining!

To make a long story short, the Rutgers women basketball team is definitely taking advantage of the Imus incident. They should just stop their whining and get on with their lives! I can't believe that even made national television!

i don't think there is anything for the Rutger's women's team to gain but respect and dignity. what Imus said wasn't funny at all. i think the question should be is Imus taking advantage of this incident big time? nothing sells like bad press and it doesn't get much worse than this.

No question that they are.

And I'll bet if we examine the I-Pods of those young ladies, at least 80% of them would have some song on there by 50 cent, or Snoop Dog... anyone want to bet?

Also, the trash talking during games is just as bad as anything Imus said. I'm not defending Imus, I never saw any talent there... he's irrelevant, and I know his radio audience is microscopic in numbers...not to mention the fact that he doesn't even have anything to do with sports in the first place.

honestly! that's not the 1st time Imus has made insulting racial comments...and consistent with probability if he's canned, it may well be the final time. How do you're saying "nappy headed hos" with out malice? besides the undeniable fact that, Imus isn't the only public determine who has disrespected black females. What approximately Eddie Murphy with is disgusting Norbit movie? What relating to the manufacturers of massive Mama's homestead? while are human beings going to end treating black females as we are honest interest while it includes stereotyping, defaming and demeaning? I for am only bored with it! it is fantastically much such as you are able to desire to be skinny and blonde to get any variety of appreciate or love in this society...and it stinks!!!

Yeah they are!! Plus, the media totally blew it out of proportion. That's ridiculous. Granted, he should not have made the comment, but many people say stuff like that every day and they are not on the news.

Heck yeah they are. They lost the game but are getting more news coverage then the girls/women who won. If it was a black radio station or a** hole rapper that called them that it would be all good. They probably wouldn't mind at all especially if it was a rapper.

I think they would like to put it all behind them and move on. People like Al Sharpton are really taking advantage of all this.
