Haven't done the work I was supposed to do today. Have a meeting with my manager tomorrow. I've already been told off for slacking. What do I do?

Well, first get off of the internet and turn off all distractions. Cell phone, Ipod, internet connection, etc, and dig in. If co-workers are bothering you, tell them you're under the gun and need to get some work done. Stop procrastinating and start working. If something is preventing you from getting done, go to your manager NOW and tell him/her what the problem is, ie, you need more information, resources, help, whatever. I've used earplugs before when working in a noisy environment so I could concentrate.

As Bobby McFerrin said, "don't worry, be happy.......... when you worry your face will frown and that will bring everybody down....."
On a serious note, firstly leave Y!A. I would strongly advise you stay behind at work and get it done but you need to relax if not you won't be able to focus and concentrate on the work at hand.
Good luck tomorrow.... I'm sure you'll be fine. I think you get 3 strikes before you're out so 2 more to go so chill....

When in trouble simply resort to artistic licence. Tell him you had a problem with the work content but desparately wanted to do the job properly. You want to take this opportunity to get his input on the job in hand and then tell him that his guidance will be taken on board for the future benefit of the company.

Good luck!

Be Honest!! Tell him that you are really not interested in your work and explain why,you must have reasons. I think the time to leave a job is when you are sick of getting up in the Morning in order to attend it. You spend most of your hrs in life at work you might as well do it with a smile if that's hard to do then its also time to go.

Tighten up girl. You may want to find another job that you would like and enjoy doing the work that the Manager is expecting out of you. LOL

Stop slacking, especially if you've already been warned. Theres not really much you can do unless you can finish the work you were suppose to do.

Either think of a very good Excuse or stay behind and finish your work, and to make up for it tell your Boss you'll work the weekend...basically kiss ***.. or find a new job!

I'd do the work. It's less work in the long run than looking for a new job or fighting with your boss..

Stay in work tonight until you've finished it or go in early tomorrow. Or tell your boss that you are no coping and ask for additional help?

You'd better get cracking and do the work now or come in extra early tommorrow morning to catch up.
