i used to be a waitress and yes, this does suck. i think the worst thing is when patents don't watch there children. they let them run around and throw or drop there food all over and they don't even bother to pick things up.
i also hated when i walked over to a table to get an order and for some reason the mother of the table decided that this would be the perfect time to whip her boob out to feed her baby. can you not do that after you order your bowl of fruit and water? i mean really i takes two seconds to order something.

People should act well mannared while in a restraunt and so should their children, however you need to get over the breast feeding part, it is a natural part of life. When I was over in europe it was not uncommon to see a women with her breast hanging out feeding her child and she didnt even cover up, over here we cover up.
However, you do live in a world with other people and I would suggest you dine at home if these things are such an issue for you. You sound like a very self centered person.

Except for the breast feeding, I agree. As long as the breastfeeding is done with modesty, it doesn't bother me. We shouldn't be looking at other people's breast area anyway. However, loud, crazy kids are another matter. If my son ever acts like that we will leave and his hiney will feel the heat!

Mothers breastfeeding? No, it's very normal and if done discreetly, it's perfectly fine. However, the family needs to stay seated and so do the children. No one should be running around or being loud. That's rude behavior.

Yes it sucks, but that's how it is...I have children and when we go out I realize we aren't the only people there, so out of respect for others my wife and I make sure the kids don't get crazy, and bother other people trying to enjoy their meal.

I guess it all depends on what kind of restaurant we're talking about. If it's some fast food joint, then it wouldn't bother me. But if we're talking about fine dining, THAT would bother me. :)
