I have slowly acquired new skills in this job my self and help from the ther receptinist i am thrilled with this job but out of service I have been doing more things that correspond to me such as making my boss creakfast (just eggos) which is no problem right? But when itr recurring and I am forced to do them to his likness and then wash after his meal it seems unfair that I signed up for receptionist and he is taking advatage of my servitutde. well unfortunalte it doesnt end there i he also started sending me on my OWN vehicle to get his daily cofee, ok right? well im on a budget and can afford only $30 of gas to last me a week. today i told him i didnt have gas whichi only have to last me till payday. and he screamed at me because i didnt want to get him cofee and began sayin hat n more personal calls (i have some that lst 2 minutes) and that no more faxing, copying etc, whichi dont do, WHAT CAN I DO? please help, complain to who?

Loved the answers in regars to HR. I kinda am the person who recruits drivers. Its a trk company. I do the screening. It;s an office of 5 employees, him (my boss) his brother, a person who cleans trls, a receptionist, oh and me!
I can't notify anyone because he's the highest authority (hurray for me..) HR well that's me and the other recept.
In regards to talking. I can honestly say he;s not one to talk he always says neg remarks. I told him today I cant get him cofee and he got HYSTERICAL. If I put put to much honey in his eggos he gets mad, if I leave for mroe than 10 min for the coffee he gets mad.
He expects me to know his likes and dislikes... I'm desperate I dont want to stay there but to what authority outside the business can I go to
Seeking for a job I am doing so at this moment.

Do you want to know the right way or the wrong way to deal with it?
Right way--- have a meeting with him to discuss the issue and work from there. If he does nothing then request to speak to his superior. If you don't talk to him first his boss is just gonna say to go back and talk to him. If his boss has the same attitude and does nothing continue up the ladder. But overall you will be branded a whiner and will probably be let go at the first chance.

I would start looking for another job if I was you.

Wrong but more fun way-
You could tell him you didn't bring your car to work. You can't go get it if you don't have a way there. Always get the wrong coffee, leave his eggos frozen in the middle, or when you leave to go get his coffee be gone for like 2 hours.

Go to your human resources person and ask to see, in writing, EXACTLY what your job duties are. If your duties do not include those of being a personal assistant, let your HR person know that your boss is abusing his position and making you into a personal assistant. (Then, it should be up to the HR person to address it with your boss right away.)

Personally, I'd be looking for a new job - or seeing if I could transfer within the company to another department.

First, you can start spelling correctly and then use spell check.

Second, quit!
