i feel that the reason Imus said what he said ,was that he was ready for retirement he sure look the part and act the part this is the only thing that he could do to get his retirement quickly and with his retirement money in tact Imus was burned out

My wife and I had discussed that too.Either that or NBC found this a good opportunity to force his retirement.I thought what he said was hilarious.

I doubt it. I don't think he's that smart. He's not entirely stupid, but the exchange between him and his producer sounded entirely spontaneous.

Also, it's unlikely that Imus wants the thing he's remembered for to be that he called a group of perfectly respectable young women "nappy-headed hos."

But, of course, that will be the thing that is forever attached to his name.

I think we make sexist remarks and negative socioeconomic remarks and we talk down about people's intelligence, who gives a rip that he called them nappy headed ho's!?! it is the black ppl who have not gotten off their butts and accomplished something, no good job ,did not finish school
they are the ones who are making it harder for black people to be =
