What was something about John Lock that no one knew about when they crash landed?

That he was paralyzed and was in a wheelchair.
(His father pushed him out an eight-story window and he broke his back.)
*They also didn't know that his father had stolen his kidney.
*Or that he had a case of 400 knives.
*Or that he had had a girlfriend named Helen.
*Or that he had asked Helen to marry him.
The list goes on and on! There are a bunch of things that they don't know about him. But I guess the answer you're looking for is that he was parapelegic (spelling?).

Check out the Rose and Bernard flashback from Season 2. Rose knew Locke was parapelegic before the plane crashed because at the airport she dropped her pills and Locke picked them up. She saw him in that wheelchair.
So my answer is major daddy issues.

Well Rose knew he was in a wheelchair coz she dropped her pills on the floor at the airport and Locke handed them to her, but none of the others knew...so I'm guessing it's something else but I can't think...lol

They didn't know he was in a wheel chair. He was paralyzed because his father pushed him out the window from like 20 stories high. talk about fatherly love.
