They have started off the best team in baseball with a 7-1 record! There bullpen is one of the strongest, and there is no doubt about there offense and defense! I believe this is the team to beat this year and they are going to go all the way! What do ou think?

Atlanta is probably the best all around team in the East and probably the National League. They have the best bullpen, a great staff, and probably the 2nd most explosive offense behind the Mets. I think Atlanta is definetly the team to beat but for some reason in October they always do. I think if they get over the hump in the NLDS they would have a great shot making it to the World Series. I'll say they have a good shot at making it but not yet winning it we have to see if Clemens goes to either Boston or New York, whoever gets rocket definetly makes them the favorite in the AL and would give either of them 4 quality starters that could give Atlanta problems in a 7 game series. I am rooting for the Braves, they have always been one of my favorites and i'm hoping Chipper has a healthy year and praying that Atlanta is able to bring Andruw Jones back next year.

The season is early so don't get your hopes up just yet. That being said I am a huge Braves fan and I do recognize that we are a ton better than last year ( take out June of last year and we were a playoff team ). There is so much disparity in the NL, I believe it is up for grabs and yes the Braves are one of those teams that could take the pennant. We still have some major questions ( Kelly Johnson, 1B , LF and 4th and 5th starters ). Also Chad D, have you even watched baseball for the past 13 years ? The Braves didn't make the playoffs last year and before that it was 14 years in a row with a WS title in 95. Not to mention WS trips in 91,92,96, and 98. I also would like to address Girate. The Twins play in the AL and the Braves play in the NL. You might recall both teams playing in one of the greatest world series of all time in 91 !

The Braves have had a problem in the playoffs, as has been pointed out, buuut, that is NOT there real problem. The REAL problem lies within this phenomenal bullpen that you speak of! The Braves picked up on the WORST closer in the game! I know personally, as I am an Indians fan and he; Bob Wickman; will blow it for the Braves plenty this year - trust me. The Atlanta Braves seem to always have no problem with getting lumber on the baseball, but the Mets, Dodgers and Brewers; yes; the Brewers are going to be heard this year. As a matter of fact; the Brewers pitching staff; is; going to be on top in the National League! I have given you more peanuts and popcorn for thought, then just stamping you with a seal of approval or a condemnation on your Braves! Don't you LOVE this game!!!! Baseball Rules!

sure because of the fact even even with the undeniable fact that they've moved a pair of circumstances or perhaps had some diverse team names different than the Braves, it is nonetheless the business enterprise like the Giants gained titles in ny formerly shifting west as did the Dodgers who gained a call on an identical time as in Brooklyn. So sure the Braves could be known for his or her 3 international sequence in 1914,fifty seven and ninety 5.

I am a huge Braves fan from the Boston area and have rooted for them ever since I watched them play in Boston many moons ago. They are certainly off to a great start and seem to have the pitching and hitting to win their division. Once they do that, I would be in a better position to predict the winner of the World Series. I wouldn't ever count them out!!

No way!!! They have gone to the playoffs for like 13 years straight now and haven't been able to make the World Series. Just face it, the Braves are not a good playoff team.
