Never. Controversy brings advertising dollars to the media companies. Jesse and Al Sharpton are money in the bank. They'd attend a mud wrestling match if they thought it would get them media coverage, and guess what? They'll get the media coverage.
It's all about the almighty dollar.
Imus was just another pawn in the game. He never had a chance once those 2 got into the mix.

Jackson tired unsuccessfully to fill MLK's shoes, he couldn't hes a publicity seaking mongrul that couldnt give a rats behind about anyone but how to line his own pocket! In the late 70s we treid to get him to campaign for Leonard Peltier and he wanted money before he would do anything to help American Indians!

They will not ever stop. Jackson does a great job in his role, the media wants racism to be in the forefront of everyones mind,
Ask yourself why? Do you support those who do with your viewing time and support their advertisers.
I refuse to watch any of the network news, they are disgusting beyond belief, heck I would rather listen to pelosi.

He's just another rabble-rousing loudmouth trying to make it look like he is doing something to help "his people" LOL!
Like Sharpton he only cares about getting his name in the paper. Also like Sharpton, since he can't handle the bigger issues in the african american community he's going for the easy target.
Let's be honest, rap lyrics are far more degrading than anything Imus said, but I don't see them protesting the major record labels.
If people in the african american community can't and sometimes don't have any respect for themselves, why should anyone else? I'm not trying to be racist, but let's be honest, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

But it makes them FEEL so good about themselves. That's whats important to a liberal. The fact that Jesse Jackson is a race baiting agitator and does not deserve to the title reverend does not matter.

I agree 110%. This guy, along with big Al, are hurting race relations. They lack credibility among many blacks. But, the liberal media will continue to give them time so long as they "stir the pot".
