No, never. Actually, I've had the "time of my life" since I turned 36 and every year has been better. I'm 43 now.

I'm not sure what a 'mid-life crisis' is but, what I've had when I don't have any projects going on, that might be close, is a feeling of 'what is my purpose type feeling' and depression. So I start volunteering at my local theatre and am around a lot of crazy people which is quite entertaining. I also started taking fun classes at our community college. Makes me feel young again.By the way my kids left the nest within 4-5 years now. When school is over for the semester for me, I feel 'blue' after a while. So I enroll in something else! I'm 55!

No, I had a crisis at 20 another at 31 but after 40 things have been OK. I have had lots of concerns but not the sort of crisis where I want to pack it all in and go around the world so perhaps I am not the one to answer this..

I well remember being 40 and the pundits were around then too.
Believe me, my Wife and I are only 18 months apart in age and never did we have any sort of crisis. We both worked and retired 3.5 years ago and now, at 66 & 64, we are as happy as, to coin a Northern expression 'As happy as pigs in muck'!!
Health, No Mortgage, disposable income, holidays, new car every two years and a wonderful Daughter and Son-in-Law - what more do we need?
Check it out!!

just came out of one, to be candid could be disturbing but if properly manage thru learning to employ best options on daily basis, the crises could be a gold mine of enlightment.
the bottom line is learning to manage life to the best of ones ability despite our weakness, also fear God and remain focus. am 40
