What cool about the New Deal that I still see today is the products of the WPA (Work Products Administration). The WPA created jobs, including jobs for artists. Throughout my state, I have wonderful murals and old classic buildings that were WPA projects. I can see WPA art in a lot of old courthouses in my state. My local post office is a beautiful WPA Greek revival building.

Definitely "Federal One", the part of the Works Progress Administration that subsidized artists, musicians, painters and writers on relief. It's legacy is all over the US, in public buildings, libraries and musea.
