All his political friends and guests are now part of the feeding frenzy. Sharpton calling for his firing and MSNBC caves in one day, like they had no idea what Imus was doing on his show. What happened to all his big time liberal friends?

This is what happens when you hang out with liberals, they cut n run on you so fast it makes your head spin. Liberals aren't real friends, they always back down and cower in fear in the face of danger. It's just the nature of liberals. I'm not surprised at all.

They won't even agree that he is Liberal, btw. Even though he supported Kerry in 2004.

I don't know if the audience would have been more supportive if Imus was a Conservative. I think we have made politicians step down for racial remarks.

The issue for me is free speech. And the Liberals seem to think they have the right to pick and choose when speech is free. And it looks like pure hypocrisy to me.

I choose he became into an autonomous like (supposedly) Joe Lieberman. Imus makes stupid jokes approximately the two events to getlaughs from dumb visitors. i'm a liberal, yet discover him to be an grotesque, humorless guy or woman. the biggest laughs i've got had recently have been in desires of Al Sharpton pooping out of his mouth.

They just want to make themselves look good, and appease the african american community. Lrt's face it the african americans that do vote sure as heck don't vote republican, so the dems/libs are jumping on the anti-Imus bandwagon for potential votes, nothing more nothing less.

If he were a Muslim his audience would be torching Churches and looting stores and carrying signs saying "death to cartoonist blasphemers."
