First off, relax. Lacrosse is HUGE amounts of fun!!! ( =

Second, pay attention. You are not the only one who is having their first practice. Your coach will be giving out vital info as will the more experienced players on the team. Watch what they do, pay attention to instructions and commit things to memory.

Third, play hard. Be prepared to run, sweat, fall, trip, stretch and yes - bleed. Lacrosse isn't for wimps, you have to be ready to take the hit and give it back! Don't be afraid of other players, no one is going to cause an injury to their own teammate. If you show that you have no fear, other players will fear YOU and make your life easier.

Fourth, wear your safety gear. Your mouth guard is your friend. Be ready to pick it up out of the dirt and put it back in your mouth. Yum! If they give out goggles, wear them. Gloves are great to help with grip and keep hands limber and protected during colder games/practices. Wear good cleats and good running shoes. Put your hair up or keep it out of the way.

Fifth, do your drills with all of your heart! Put yourself in there and don't just go through the motions. Show a true desire to learn and volunteer to do things first. If you go first and you screw up, no one will rmemeber and you will help everyone else as well as yourself. You will also look good to your coach because you are willing to step up.

Sixth, learn the game. Study the plays and the field positions and know them. Quiz yourself and your teammates and always ALWAYS know your position! Learn the rules and penalties associated with violating them. Learn about equipment and skills and drills and help other people out with the info you gain.

Seventh, check out www.uslacrosse.org for all the info you need and www.girlslacrossegear.com for all the latest in gear!

GOOD LUCK!!!

'family contributors violence and new child endangerment' - you skipped over that she replaced right into a sufferer of poverty back in that!! Poverty isn't a sufferer status as such - on an identical time because it is the direct reason for some issues, including stealing nutrition etc - there is not any justification for fake expenses to purpose to make money - she could have been charged with fraud! 'you're goin' down - fraud's a Federal rap, Mikey - and additionally you gets the chair - 'n i don't propose the chair elevate at Aspen!' . nicely, slightly extreme, yet... Poverty might MITIGATE punishment for against the regulation, besides the undeniable fact that it would not justify the crime. once I get my 2nd e book out - you are able to examine all a pair of incredibly deprived early existence there, concerning a family contributors i be attentive to nicely - that could desire to close maximum of those feminists up! (snorts - 'adult adult males's privilege' - 'oppression' - shee-hit! You gotta be wealthy to even think of that way!). ingredient is - out of that family contributors - 2 toddlers out of six went off aim with the aid of drugs - 4 did not. ingredient is - you are able to decide for!!
